Description

The Robert Gordon University, located at 352-354 King Street in Aberdeen, was built between 1869 and 1871 by William Smith for the Boys' and Girls' Hospital, with later additions by William Kelly in 1890. This Italian-style building is two stories high, featuring advanced ends with tripartite arrangements. The center has an arched door with a tripartite window above, flanked by three-story quoined towers that have open top stages. The building is topped with low-pitched roofs and broad eaves.
