Description

The building at 29 Port Road, Islandmagee, Larne, Co Antrim, is a ruined cottage constructed between 1840 and 1859 in the townland of Cloghfin. Originally a thatched house, it featured harled and whitened stone walls. It is now roofless and in a derelict condition, having lost any architectural or historic interest; it was initially listed in 1979 but subsequently de-listed on June 5th, 1992. The building appears on the Ordnance Survey map of 1858.
