Description
This is a mid-19th century, two-storey, three-bay farmhouse situated on Clarehill Road in Ballymagaraghan Td. The building, which is currently in use as a house, was originally a house. It was surveyed during the First Survey but not listed, and a partial record was taken during the Second Survey as it was deemed not worthy of a full survey. The farmhouse is constructed of rough coursed basalt walling with contrasting stepped stucco window reveals and quoins. However, it has undergone unsympathetic alterations and a rear extension, which has negatively impacted its architectural and historical significance. The building is not listed and has no recorded architectural or historical interest.
