Description

Brick three-storey, two-bay houses off the East Way just above Lone Moor Road, laid out in 1896. Canted bay windows and wall-head gabled dormers. Square-headed openings with one-over-one timber sash windows. Built as a terrace of 22 houses, the upper attic level is a conglomeration of half-timberwork giving the appearance of an Elizabethan village perched on an Edwardian terrace. Partial survey only. These buildings were surveyed in the First Survey but not listed. Whilst they remain of significant local interest they do not meet the criteria required for listing. This partial record was made during the Second Survey.
