The building comprises two blocks of four, three-storey terraced Victorian houses. The red brick walls are defined by horizontal strings and segmental window arches, with arched doorways highlighted in yellow brick. There are eight windows across the front, and the end houses feature canted ground floor bays. The windows are two-pane sashes. The building has been extended with a continuous rendered dormer, and the windows and doors have been replaced with uPVC. The building is notable within its locale, but extensive alterations have diminished its architectural and historic interest. A partial survey was undertaken.
