Description

This was a former three-storey building dating from the early nineteenth century, situated on an alleyway off Bridge Street in Banbridge. The building has since been demolished and replaced by a modern structure. According to the First Survey card, it was likely constructed around 1830 and had a slated roof and brick walls. A segmental brick arch framed a simple doorcase, and the square-headed windows featured plaster reveals. The building exhibited horizontal glazing bars. It had a frontage of approximately 45 feet. Ordnance Survey maps from 1833 and 1861 do not depict the building. The Ulster Architectural Heritage Society recorded a visit on 17th September 1969. The listing is a Record Only, and the building is not considered to have significant architectural or historical interest. The listing covers only a partial survey.
