Description
The record pertains to a granite bench, originally inscribed with the words "Rest for the weary" and the date 1876. It was gifted by the late James Johnston, manager of the Provincial Bank of Ireland. The bench was recorded during a survey on 3 October 1972, but it is now missing and presumed to have been removed. A house depicted in the initial survey has also not been located. The listing is a partial survey only and does not extend to architectural or historical interest.
