First Survey record relates to a granite bench inscribed ‘Rest for the Weary’ dating from the mid nineteenth century. It cannot be located and is presumed removed. The house shown in the First Survey image was not located. The First Survey card records: ‘1876 A granite bench inscribed with the date of 1876 and "Rest for the weary". Bequest of the late James Johnston, manager of the Provincial Bank of Ireland Date of visit: 3 Oct 72’
