Description
A late 20thC suburban manse replacing an earlier two-storey gabled house with harled walling and recessed semi-circular entrance, now demolished. The First Survey card records: 'A two-storey house with harled walls and slated roof between parapet gables. Bottom courses of slates are larger than remainder of roof which is in very poor condition. Each gable rises to a large brick chimney stack. The entrance, recessed in a semi-circular headed painted stone opening with radial g.b. In fanlight, is flanked by a narrow window each side and a D/H window with full g.b. in the main wall face. There are three D/H windows on the upper storey with sashes divided vertically into three panes. The building is somewhat run down. There are carved granite gate piers with good iron railings.
