Description
This is a two-storey red-brick building that originally served as a railway station. It is now a detached house, situated at the north end of Old Station Road, on the outskirts of Holywood. The building has been extensively altered during conversion to residential use, including the addition of an extension to the east end. As a result of these changes, the original character of the former railway station is largely lost, and its architectural and historical interest has been reduced. The building is of local interest but does not represent a particularly outstanding example of its type. A partial survey was undertaken.
