Description

Two storey terrace house set in the S side of the centre of Bow Street, to the NE of Donaghadee town centre. Front N facade has a slightly left of centre panelled door with plain fanlight. To the right of this is a large elliptical arch headed carriage entrance, with ‘in and out’ voissoirs and timber sheeted double doors. To the left of the house doorway is a sash window. To the first floor are four, evenly spaced sash windows with Georgian panes. The front facade is finished in lined render with chamfered quoins (to E side only). The rear is dominated by a large recent looking, single storey extension, with a modern window and plain timber sheeted door to its exposed W face. This extension has a mono-pitched roof with pan tiles. To the rear of the main house there are two sash windows to left and right, with a central larger window now with modern frame. The rear facade of the main house is finished in plain render. The main roof is gabled and covered in highly unsuitable pan tiles. Two rendered chimney stacks. Cast iron rw goods to front, PVC to rear.
