The house is set on the N edge of Kearney Village (itself c.3 miles E of Portaferry). Front (SE) facade is asymmetrical. Slightly to the left of centre is a timber and glazed door. Sash window, with Georgian panes, to left, with similar window to right. Smooth cement surrounds to all windows. SW gable end has window as before to right on ‘front’ gable, with small lean-to extension to W of the ‘rear’ gable. ‘Rear’ gables are slightly narrower than those to front. NE gable end has window as before to right on ‘front’ gable with similar window to left on ‘rear’ gable. The rear façade has a three sided flat roofed bay with many Georgian-like panes to windows. Two sash windows to right of bay, as front only smaller, with four pane window to rear of lean-to at far right. Gabled pitched roofs to main house with Bangor blue slates, stone parapets and four rendered chimney stacks (one to each gable). Entire house finished in rough cast render and painted. Mixture of cast iron and PVC gutters and down spouts. Low rendered wall around front garden.
