WaterPump, 126 Downshire Road, Holywood, Co Down

This water pump, located at 126 Downshire Road, Holywood, Co Down, is a relatively recent addition as a garden ornament and is not a listed building. It is a cowtail closed head lever pump featuring a plain, spirally decorated column and a fluted cap topped with an acorn finial. The pump’s head is inscribed with ‘R Riddell NtnArds’. It was purchased second-hand for use as a garden ornament and installed in its current location between 2000 and 2019.
