Description
The remains of an ice house are located at Leawood, on Bangor Road, Holywood, County Down. It is presumed to have been demolished. The original survey, conducted in 1973, described the structure as approximately 9 feet in diameter and featuring a brick barrel vault roof and a doorway. It was situated within an overgrown mound in a wooded area of the garden. The survey suggests a date before 1850. The structure was only partially surveyed. It is not listed for architectural or historical interest and is not currently included within any listing extent.
