Description

The dwelling has been demolished and the site cleared. The First Survey card records: ‘2/Sty house with attic. Roof slated, gable ends, corbelled barges. Chimneys rendered & mld. Wall rendered & painted Vermic, quoins. Mld. F/FL. frieze course. F/FL band course & mld. base. Sea front has 2 attic gabled windows, decor. barges. Windows D/H. 5/C arch head, no astrags. 2 outer 2/Sty oriels flat roof & mld. eaves course. Windows D/H, no astrags. 2 central F/FL D/H windows, no astrags. Segmental arch head, mld architrave. Projecting Gr/FL porch, flat roof, blocking course & entab. 2 square corner columns with narrow lights on each side face. Doorway in main back wall has panelled door, plain sidelights carried up above transome to form 3 pane plain fanlight. Red tiled steps with couchant lions on side wall pedestals & vases at lower flight of terrace steps. Seaside boundary wall of stone rubble with rounded concrete coping. Condition fair. front about 40 ft. Suggest later C19 Date of visit: 30/9/74
