Description
This building, located immediately west of Number 17, is a former outbuilding that now serves as a school annexe. It is possibly from the 15th century and has been modified in the 19th and 20th centuries. The structure is made of random local stone rubble with ashlar dressings and features a hipped roof covered with double Roman clay tiles. It has a rectangular plan and stands two storeys tall, with a single-storey addition at right angles to the road.
The exterior consists of three bays, with buttresses that have moulded offsets between them. In the first bay, there are two chamfered, 4-centre arched window openings that are not aligned, featuring casements with rectangular leaded panes. To the left of the ground-floor window, there is a blocked single rectangular window. The second bay contains an arched window with a rectangular single-light window to the right, along with another blocked window above. The third bay has an arched window at the first-floor level with a blocked window to the right, and below it are two former 2-light mullioned windows, although the mullions have been removed and replaced with leaded casements.
At the west end of the building, there is a 19th-century crosswing with a gabled roof and a flat-roofed link, which features two brick-lined elliptical arches that house 20th-century window and door units. The interior has not been inspected but is noted to contain features from the 19th and 20th centuries.
