Description
The linhay and attached wall to the east of the barn at Kentsford Farm is probably from the late 18th century. It is constructed of random rubble red sandstone and features a double Roman tile roof over the farmyard, with corrugated iron sheeting on the rear slope. The structure is single storey and consists of six bays, which are divided by full-height circular plastered stone columns. A loft floor has been inserted between four of the bays. Attached to the right-hand end of the linhay is a random rubble stone wall that is about 3 metres long and 2 metres high, which incorporates the repositioned head of a small stone cross.
