Description
Nos 4 to 8 Castle Hill are late 18th century buildings that feature roughcast and cement-rendered exteriors with a pantile roof. Number 4 includes a bow window from the 18th century on the ground floor. Number 6 has a hung sash window with glazing bars on the ground floor, along with a six-panel door framed by a wooden architrave and topped with a cornice. Number 8 displays three first-floor windows, two of which are blocked, while the remaining window is a hung sash with glazing bars. On the ground floor, there are two windows, one with glazing bars and the other set in a reeded surround. The building has a plinth and a six-panel double door in a reeded doorway, which is topped with a hood. Nos 4 to 8 form a group with the rear elevation of Nos 1, 2a, and No 2 The Bar.
