Description

Nos 5 and 6 Benson's Yard are 18th-century buildings located on Church Street. They are two storeys high and constructed of brick, with a pantile roof and some rendered sections. Each house has two windows: No 5 features two double-hung sash windows with late 19th-century glazing on the first floor and two fixed lights with one opening section on the ground floor. No 6 has 19th-century windows without glazing bars. Both properties have plain doors topped with sloped hoods supported by consoles, and there is one step leading up to the doors. Nos 3 to 7 Benson's Yard are part of a group.
