Description

The Old Water Tower is a disused structure dating from the mid to late 18th century. It is built of coursed dressed sandstone and features a Westmorland slate roof. The tower has two storeys and is designed as a single cell. It includes a plinth and a board door located below a keyed lintel. A moulded cornice adds to its architectural detail, and the roof is hipped. At the rear, there is a board door on the first floor, while the right side has a blind window also with a keyed lintel.
