Description
The Broates Farmhouse and farm buildings date from the early 19th century. This low building is two storeys high and constructed of coursed stone with a pantile roof. It features four irregularly placed windows, which include two-light and five-light sliding sashes with glazing bars, all having wooden lintels. On the ground floor, there are two similar windows and two additional windows on the left side, along with a plain door beneath a wooden lintel. The property also includes attached farm buildings, which consist of a one-storey carriage store and a barn that is oriented at right angles to the farmhouse.
