Description

Nos. 3 and 4A Battlebarrow is a 17th-century building constructed of stone rubble. It stands two storeys high and features a two-storeyed porch with springers to the copings. The outer doorway is moulded and has a semi-circular arched head with imposts, adorned with interlaced ornament in low relief. Above the doorway, there is a cornice that was formerly supported by columns. The porch has one window in the upper storey, while the left side has one window per storey, and the right side has two windows per storey. All windows consist of two lights, dating from the 18th or 19th century, with arched headed lights, splayed reveals, and mullions.
