Description
Manor House and Manor Cottage is a building from the late 17th century or early 18th century, which incorporates part of a mid-17th century house. It features painted incised stucco with an eaves cornice, set beneath a graduated greenslate roof with cement rendered chimney stacks. The structure has two storeys, with four bays on the left and three bays on the right, all under a common roof. The entrance includes a panelled door framed by a bolection architrave, topped with a pulvinated frieze and an open segmental pediment. The windows are sash style with chamfered surrounds, with the one above the entrance being narrower and false. Manor Cottage, located to the right, has a plank door in a painted stone architrave and windows similar to those of the Manor House. The interior is noted to have some interest, but access was not possible during the survey.
