Description

The stables, located behind Number 3 (Saracen's Head Inn) on Brook Street, date from the mid-18th century. They are constructed of red brick and feature a roof that is now covered with corrugated asbestos. A broad band runs along the first floor level, and there is a double row of pigeon holes situated below the eaves. The building is topped with an elaborate brick corbelled eaves cornice.
