Description

Ivydale is an 18th-century house, altered subsequently. It is constructed of squared rubble and has a roof of large slates, with kneelers and a stone coping to the gables. The house is in an L-shaped plan with a lower, two-storied back wing. The front elevation has three sash windows with four panes to the first floor, and a 19th-century canted bay window and two casement windows on the ground floor. A six-panelled door, with four fielded panels and two glazed panels, is set within a Doric surround.
