Description
The Racecourse Pavilion is an early 19th-century, two-storey building that was altered around 1930. It features a stucco exterior and low-pitched roofs, enclosed by cast iron railings. The taller wing on the left side has a four-light window on the first floor, which includes colonnette mullions, sashes, and glazing bars. The main block has three similar first-floor windows arranged in groups of three, five, and three lights, along with a verandah. The ground floor has casement windows with glazing bars and an external cast iron staircase leading up to the verandah. There is a loggia on the ground floor supported by cast iron colonnettes. The south entrance front showcases an arcade of six round arches at the ground floor, with sash windows featuring glazing bars on the first floor.
