Description

The Chantry, located at Priors Piece in Great Billing, is a building that underwent remodelling in the 19th century, although it has origins in an earlier structure. It is constructed from rubble and features a Welsh slated roof. The building is two storeys high and includes multi-light stone mullioned leaded casement windows. The north front displays some 19th-century casements and sashes, along with an oval panel and an oval window situated above a chamfered semi-circular headed doorway. The Chantry, along with Nos 6 and 8, forms a cohesive group of buildings.
