Description
Jesselton Cottage is a cottage dating from the 17th or 18th century, constructed of coursed limestone rubble with brick additions and a plain tile roof, featuring brick end stacks. The building is two storeys high and has a two-window range. The central entrance consists of a six-panel door, with the upper two panels being glazed, set within a wooden architrave that has a hood supported by decorative brackets. To the right of the door, there is a boot scraper. The entrance is flanked by three-light small-paned casement windows with wooden lintels. On the first floor, there is a two-light small-paned casement window and a similar three-light window, which was originally part of an eyebrow dormer. Inside, the cottage features a central staircase, and the left-hand ground floor room includes a full-width inglenook fireplace and a two-panel door.
