Description

These are two early 19th-century houses located on Benefield Road. They are built of coursed rubble. Number 63 has a Welsh slate roof and two windows on the first floor with hanging sashes and glazing bars. There is one window on the ground floor. The entrance has a plain pilastered surround, a door of six fielded panels, and a rectangular fanlight. Number 65 has two first-floor windows with casements of two lights and wooden lintels. The ground floor has two similar windows and a door located beneath a lintel. There is also one window of three lights with a wooden lintel. Numbers 63 and 65, along with numbers 69 to 81 (odd), form a group with the Black Horse Public House.
