Description
No. 43 Temple End is a late 18th-century building that has been altered over time. It is constructed of red bricks and features a hipped roof covered with old tiles. The building has two storeys and includes a moulded plinth on the right side, along with a moulded brick stringcourse that runs along part of the front at the first-floor level.
On the first floor, there are two flush sash windows, each four panes wide, set beneath flat arches, along with a small central brick panel. To the right on the ground floor, there is a similar window with a cambered relieving arch, and to the left, a 19th-century canted bay window. The central entrance features a four-panel door, which now has glazed panels, set within an architrave surround topped by a cornice hood with a fielded panelled soffit supported by console brackets.
Nos. 43 to 47 (odd) form a group.
