Description

The Dodd Tomb, located west of St Mary's Church in Farnham Royal, is a chest tomb dating from around 1880. It is dedicated to Henry Dodd, a merchant from the City. The tomb is made of grey granite and features two inset bronze plaques on the north side, both signed by F. Rosher. One plaque depicts a shipping scene, while the other, positioned above, shows a ploughboy dreaming behind the plough, symbolizing H. Dodd's humble local origins.
