Description
Number 1 on London End is a building dating from the 16th to 17th century. It has a timber frame but was refronted in the 18th century with brown brick. The roof is covered with old tiles and features a modillion cornice. The building stands two storeys tall, with the first floor showcasing two sash windows that have glazing bars. The ground floor has a modern door and shop front. Notably, wall paintings from around 1620 were removed from this location to Aylesbury Museum.
