Description

The Crest Hotel is a building dating from the 16th or 17th century, although most of its exterior has been modernized. It is two storeys tall, with a single-storey wing on the left side and an old tiled roof featuring a chimney at the ridge. The ground floor has three shallow bay windows supported by brackets and fitted with glazing bars, along with two entrances that have modern doors and a small window with leaded lights. The first floor features a gable above each door and two two-light casements with leaded lights. On the side facing Shepherds Lane, there is a long wing primarily constructed of colourwashed brick.
