Description

Elizabeth Cottage is a building dating from the 16th or 17th century, possibly originally a group of cottages. It features a timber frame with brick nogging and has an old tile roof. The structure is in an L-shape and consists of two storeys. There is a dormer that rises through the eaves in the short arm and a gabled two-storey projection in the long arm. The windows are two-light casements with leaded lights and heraldic glass insets. The doors are reconstructed from carved oak panels, with one door featuring a sloped tiled hood supported by brackets. In the left angle, there is a two-storey porch that is open on the ground floor and enclosed on the first floor. A modern extension is located at the right end of the short arm.
