Description
Woodlands Cottages is a building from the 17th century and later, currently functioning as a single dwelling. It is constructed of red brick and features an old tile roof with a large square central chimney stack. The structure has two storeys and an attic, with painted windows located in the gables. The north elevation displays three gables, while the south elevation has one gable and a single-storey lean-to. The building has a deep plinth with a moulded brick top course and two string courses, one positioned under the gables and the other at the first-floor level.
On the east elevation, the gable end features a ground floor three-light window with wooden mullions and a transom, and a first-floor three-light casement window. There is also a painted window in the gable, along with a lean-to that has a tile roof and a three-light window with wooden mullions, transom, and glazing bars. The west elevation showcases a gable and reveals timber framing.
