Description

The water pump, located at 1, 799 Pebble Lane, dates from around 1840 and is the only remaining example of the public pumps that supplied Aylesbury with drinking water. It is made of cast iron and features a handle for hand pumping. The shaft of the pump is approximately 10 feet high and is secured to the wall of the lane by metal brackets.
