Description
15 Temple Street is a 18th-century building that stands three storeys tall. It features vitreous brick with red brick quoins and dressings, along with a moulded brick eaves cornice and a string course at the first-floor level. The roof is covered with old tiles. On the second floor, there are two square windows, while the first floor has two large segmental-headed windows, although the glazing has been altered. The ground floor includes an early 19th-century shop front to the left of a slightly curved bow window, which has large panes with square section heavy glazing bars, arranged five panes wide by two. There is also a delicate cornice that is partially obscured by a crude temporary fascia that could be removed. To the right, there is a six-panel door with an architrave surround and a plain rectangular fanlight. This building is part of a group that includes Nos 13 to 17 Temple Street.
