Description
The stables at Bassetsbury Manor are a red brick building dating from the late 17th century or early 18th century. The structure is a rectangular block with a pedimented design and features an old tiled roof. Each of the east, west, and south sides has a pediment that includes a circular tympanum window set in a rusticated flint surround. The east front is distinguished by a pair of two-fold coach doors with 16 fielded panels. The stables are part of a group that includes Chequers, Bassetsbury Mill, Manor, and Barn.
