Description

Long Herdon Farmhouse is a cottage dating from the 18th century. It is constructed of whitewashed rubble stone with timber lintels above the openings. The building features a thatched roof and brick stacks at either end. It is 1½ storeys high and has two bays. The ground floor has paired barred casements, with a thatched section to the right. To the left, there is a single-storey extension made of whitewashed brick, topped with a slate roof. At the rear, there are three-light barred casements flanking a central 20th-century door, along with three paired casements under thatch.
