Description

No. 7 High Street is a building from the 17th century or earlier, with alterations made in the 18th and 19th centuries. It features a timber frame with an overhanging first floor, which is concealed by 19th-century shop fronts and 18th-century whitewashed brickwork. The building has a corbelled cornice beneath a tiled roof and stands two storeys tall, with two sash windows set in reveals. The shop includes two oriel bays supported by brackets. Nos. 3 to 7 (odd) form a group.
