Description

Yewtree House, located on Penn Church Road, is a late 17th-century building originally constructed as an almshouse. It features red and grey brick with red brick quoins and dressings, topped by a hipped old tile roof. The house is two storeys high, with a cement-rendered band on the first floor. A central gabled projection is adorned with grey modillions on a red cornice band. The windows are arranged in a 3:1:1 pattern, consisting of two-light wood mullion and transom casements with flat arches and wood sills. The entrance has a rounded four-centred doorway arch.
