Description
Greengates is a house located on Little Marlow Church Road, dating from the early 19th century. The front is made of brick, while the rest of the building is constructed from flint with brick dressings. It features dentil eaves, a hipped old tile roof, and brick chimneys. The house is a small double pile with a later rear wing and has two storeys with two bays. The windows are paired barred wooden casements, with the first-floor windows having moulded frames. The lower left window has been renewed in the 20th century but retains its original cambered head. To the right is a bow window with wooden glazing bars. There is a flush-panelled door to the right of centre, topped by a small moulded wooden cornice hood supported by shaped brackets. The single-storey rear wing is also part of the structure. Greengates is included for its group value.
