Description

This is a late 18th-century pair of two-storey buildings located on West Street. The buildings are constructed of flint with red brick dressings. They feature two windows, divided by a brick band that runs the full height of the facades. The ground-floor windows and doors on the left and right sides are set within segmental arched openings. The ground-floor windows retain their original glazing bars. Upper-floor windows are casements. The roof is hipped and slate-covered, with a large chimney stack in the centre. The buildings are part of a group that includes numbers 172 to 176 (even) on West Street.
