Description

Racton Church is a Grade I listed building, possibly dedicated to St Peter. The church features a chancel and a nave, which has a western bell turret topped with a spire, both of which are covered in shingles. The nave dates back to the 12th century, while the chancel is from the 13th century and includes 15th-century windows. The timbered roof is exposed, as there is no ceiling. The nave has been refaced with roughcast, but overall, the church remains simple and has seen little restoration. Inside, there are three notable monuments.
