Description

Slathurst Farmhouse is an L-shaped house that dates from the 17th century or earlier. It features exposed timber framing on the north side, with red brick infilling, while the rest of the building was refaced in the 18th century. The east front is constructed of coursed stone with red brick dressings, quoins, and a flush string-course. The central window space on the first floor is blocked with red brick and grey headers. The roof is half-hipped and tiled. The house has casement windows and is two storeys high with three windows. The south front has three storeys and is tile-hung, with a bellcast below the second floor, and also features a half-hipped tiled roof.
