Description

Upper Mill, formerly known as Mill Hollow, is a former mill-house located on Plumpton Lane. The south portion of the building dates from the 17th century or earlier and features a timber frame with plaster infilling, while the ground floor has been rebuilt in red brick. The north portion was either added or refaced in red brick during the 18th century. The building has a tiled roof and casement windows throughout. It stands two storeys high and has five windows.
