Description

Stantons Farmhouse, built in 1570, was occupied by the Challoner family until 1714. This timber-framed building has been refronted with stucco, and a portion at the west end is likely an addition made of red brick with grey headers, which was once painted. It features a hipped slate roof and casement windows. The south front is faced with red brick, tile-hanging, and flints, and also includes a central projection. The farmhouse is two storeys high and has five windows, along with a contemporary staircase.
