Description

The granary at Highstanding Barn, located to the east of the former barn, is a small square building dating from the 17th century. It features exposed timber framing with red brick infilling on the west front, while the rest of the structure is now covered in tiles. Originally, the granary stood on red brick piers and had an open ground floor, but this has been filled in, except for the west side. The building has a tiled roof and includes casement windows with diamond-shaped panes. It is two storeys high and has one window.
