Description

A pair of cottages built in 1846 by the Duke of Norfolk. They consist of two parallel ranges. The cottages are two storeys high, with two windows facing south, and three windows facing east and west. The exterior is faced with flints set in galletting, with red brick dressings. The frontages have quoins and a modillion eaves cornice. The north and south ends feature gables with scalloped bargeboards. Casement windows are present throughout. Gabled porches are situated on the east and west fronts. Two stone plaques displaying the date 1846, the letter "N," and a coronet are incorporated into the design.
