Description

The Cobden Monument is a stone obelisk located in Dunfold Hollow, West Lavington. It was erected in memory of Richard Cobden, who lived at Dunfold House in the nearby parish of Heyshott and passed away on 2 April 1866. The monument stands on a stepped base and features an inscription that reads "Free Trade, Peace, Goodwill among Nations."
