Description
The Richmond Arms Hotel is a building that dates from the late 18th century or early 19th century. It has two storeys and features three windows. The exterior is faced with flints, complemented by red brick dressings, quoins, a stringcourse, and a modillion eaves cornice. The roof is slate, and the glazing bars remain intact. There is a gabled north wing made of flints and red brick. At the south end, the building has been extended with three window bays in a style that matches the original, dating from the early to mid-19th century, though this extension lacks a stringcourse. At the north end, there is a modern addition that includes two window bays on the ground floor only, featuring a second, slightly smaller gabled porch made of flint and brick.
